About the Journal

London Journal of Physics

The London Journal of Physics (LJP) is an exciting new independent physics journal founded with the goal of encouraging publication of innovative physics research and ideas from around the globe.

A wide diversity of physics is welcomed from experimental astrophysics to quantum information theory.

LJP appreciates that some areas of physics are, in the words of Roger Penrose, often the subject of “Fashion, Faith and Fantasy” and encourages speculative research and credible new ideas.

To appeal to a wider readership, authors are encouraged to write a non-technical, interesting introduction to aid the physics generalist discover their research.

For Authors

LJP is independent, non-profit and Open Access for all readers.

Importantly, there are no article publication charges (APCs) with LJP. New authors are paid a £100 voucher as an honorarium for their accepted publications and the most original papers published each year are awarded prizes.

LJP is committed to the highest standards of editorial and peer review and aims to treat all prospective authors fairly and without bias.
