Information For Authors

The London Journal of Physics is an independent, non‑profit, open‑access journal dedicated to publishing innovative physics research from around the world. We welcome a wide diversity of physics, from experimental astrophysics to quantum information theory.

LJP recognises that some areas of physics may be influenced by what Roger Penrose called “Fashion, Faith and Fantasy.” We therefore encourage speculative but credible research and new ideas, provided they are internally consistent and clearly presented.

Unlike other Open Access journals there are no article publication charges (APCs) with LJP.

All submitted articles must be formatted in LaTeX or Word in single column format. Once an article is accepted for publication the article will be formatted using the LJP Template.

LJP is committed to the highest standards of editorial and peer review and aims to treat all prospective authors fairly and without bias.

Every article accepted and published in the London Journal of Physics receives a Digital Object Identifier (DOI) from a registered DOI agency. This ensures permanent citability and long‑term discoverability of your work.
